A little about me (who also happens to be quite little)
Hi Internet friends!
I’ve been writing for a while and have realized that while I spout all my nonsensical silliness, I haven’t properly taken the time to get to know you. You are because reading this out of some obligation to being my friend… sorry for that by the way. On the off chance however, that you’re new here I thought I would take a moment and introduce myself and share a little about me and (hopefully) what this blog is all about!
My name is Amanda, I’m a millennial with an old soul, a lover of disco and 80s rock and a severe dislike of anyone who actually refers to me as a “millennial” (although I’m probably just in denial about it).
I’m in my late twenties, like veeeeeerrrrry late twenties. The sun is setting on my twenties and I’m kind of freaking out about it, but that’s a whole other story.
I live just outside of Toronto, Canada
I’m a lover of yummy food, fuzzy animal friends and anything that makes me laugh.
I’m a sports junkie, automotive enthusiast and am completely hopeless in the realms of both math and fashion.
I love taking photos but I’m bad at it, but I do it anyways!
I have a pet Rabbit, he’s awesome and puts up with me, mostly because I can open the bag of treats but also because he has no other choice. He begrudgingly loves me most of the time.
So why start a blog?
I started this mostly for my friends. We live all over the place and don’t get to talk as much as I would like, and this helps me share my life with them even when I forget to text them back (sorry again!). I also happen to be the friend that tries a lot of stuff; I’m ALWAYS trying new things (or even new ways to love old things) and figured this could double as a place to put all of those experiments. Whether its beauty products (damn Sephora gets me every time), fitness programs or obscure items from Amazon, I love to test things out and instead of telling all the people I know individually, those thoughts could live here!
So that’s the whole story (shortened and focused so as not to ramble and annoy you), hopefully we are even better internet friends than we started!
I hope you enjoy reading and thanks for stopping by.
